Oral Contraceptive Pill Resupply Consultation

Eligible women can now visit a participating pharmacy for a resupply of their oral contraceptive pill.* Pharmacists have undergone additional training can provide a private consultation to assess and resupply the oral contraceptive pill to eligible patients. To qualify, you must have been taking the pill for contraception continuously for two years as prescribed by a GP or nurse practitioner. ** If you’ve run out of repeats or your prescription has expired, and meet the criteria, you’re eligible for a consultation with your pharmacist who can prescribe a resupply where appropriate.  Please note that not all oral contraceptive pills will be available.

 

*Only available in NSW, ACT, VIC, SA, WA, TAS and QLD
